Chantel Mt Pleasant is an Ontario box lacrosse official who has 8 years of officiating experience at the minor level. She began her career on the floor in Simcoe and Six Nations, but has since travelled all throughout Ontario to referee. Chantel enjoys mentoring new officials and helping the sport grow through officiating.
She attributes her love of lacrosse through timekeeping alongside Grandma J at the Six Nations Junior "B" Rebels games, which she credits with igniting her passion to begin officiating. As the oldest of 4 sports-loving kids, Chantel was taught a lot about the the sport of lacrosse by her dad Kevin, who continues to be involved as a great coach and mentor. When not officiating, she can be found hanging out with her dogs and her family, either camping or having a backyard fire.
